The little things we love

A little bark.
A very good bedtime.

Thor is so well trained in his home routine: he even barks to let us know when he needs to go outside to potty. At night, our sleepy boy settles in for 12–14 hours.

He loves going in and out. Our family has downsized from about 4,000 to 1,400 square feet, and Thor is not getting the regular walks and activity he needs. We want to find a home with more time for him, room to play and, ideally, a securely fenced yard. We love our good boy, and our decision to find him a new home is final.

He has normally been good with our children, though he is a jumper. His recent behavior around table food means we are looking for an experienced adult-only home where his needs can be understood.

Thor Brownie is a Cavapoo, born in April 2025, neutered and microchipped. His last documented weight was 17.4 lb on August 17, 2026. We will share his routine, training history and organized care records with the right caregiver.

A little context for his next home

On September 26, Thor nipped a child’s hand while trying to get a pork chop at dinner. The skin was not broken. His family reports that, after discussing the incident, the veterinarian and Crockett Doodles described it as a nip in play. The family had also reported concerning behavior earlier that week and will share the full context with prospective caregivers.

Thor was seen at Animal Care Clinic in Vancouver on September 28. His family reports that the veterinarian said his exam and blood tests were fine. He still jumps up frequently and needs consistent guidance around table food.

We are seeking an experienced adult-only home with regular walks, activity and companionship. His fit with other pets needs individual assessment; we will discuss his history, care records and any applicable guidance before a move.
